Orientation programme for 'School Management Committee member' held

Bishnupur, September 07 2019: A one day orientation programme for 'School Management Committee members' organized by District Administration, Bishnupur in collaboration with Zonal Education Officer, Bishnupur under 'Beti Bachao Beti Padhao Scheme 2019-20' was held at conference hall of Royal Academy of Law, Oinam today.

The programme attended by Headmasters, Headmistress and Convenors of School Management Committee of different schools of Bishnupur district was graced by ZEO Zone IV Bishnupur, N Tikendrajit Singh; DI Bishnupur, N Ranjit Singh; Principal Bishnupur Higher Secondary School, W Hemabati and Principal Ningthoukhong Model School, P Memthoi Devi as presidium members.

Speaking as resource person during the programme, Accountant SSA Bishnupur, Th Sanjoy spoke in detail about the various requirements and procedure to form a committee including requisite number of members and their role in improving a school.
