Food preservation training concludes

Imphal, October 04 2013 : A 10-day long training programme on food preservation organised jointly by Nehru Yuva Kendra, Churachandpur; Global Social Service Society Smile, Churachandpur and Manohar Adarsh Karma, Nongmeibung concluded at the Conference Hall of Independent Church of India, Churachandpur today.

National Awardee M.Manihar, lecturer of Kakching Khunou College and Ksh.

Bijenti, District Youth's Co-ordinator of Nehru Yuva Kendra, Churachandpur were respectively chief guest and president of the closing function which was also attended by H.Doungel and Tangboi Haokip as guests of honour.

Altogether 30 participants including fifteen women and 15 men took part in the training programme, during which various resource persons enlightened them on scientific methods of preserving food items.
