All roads in Khurai to be blacktopped: MLA Bijoy

Imphal, June 04 2014: Ng Bijoy, MLA Khurai A/C while inaugurating a community hall at Kongpal Kongkham Leikai as Chief Guest on Wednesday announced that all roads whether big or small in Khurai Assembly Constituency would be blacktopped under PMGSY.

The inaugural ceremony of the community hall which was constructed under the MLA's local area development fund was organized by Ema Ura Leima Development Community, Kongpal Kongkham Leikai.

MLA Bijoy further said that in the black-topping work, priority will be given to main roads and it would be followed by other small link roads.

He informed that the works will be implemented under PMGSY for which the State Government had already approved it.

Assuring that shortage of power supply in the constituency will also be solved once the Chingarel Power Sub-Station starts functioning, the MLA added that efforts are being made to to ensure adequate potable water supply to the people of the constituency.

Today's function was presided over Hidam Dorendro.
