Ukhrul to host Cabinet meeting

Ukhrul, June 03 2019: Ukhrul will host cabinet meeting at Mini Secretariat Office Complex, Hamleikhong Ukhrul, for the first time, tomorrow.

Speaking to media persons, Deputy Commissioner, Ukhrul, Dr Harmit Singh Pahuja stated that all physical arrangement and necessary security arrangement for Cabinet meeting is all set.

According to him, Cabinet meeting will be held at DC conference hall.

After the lunch, CM along with his Council of Ministers will hold interaction meeting with district community leaders, CSOs, ADCs and leading personalities of Ukhrul at DRDA conference hall, Mini Secretariat.

Later, CM will have a meeting with the village authorities regarding Shirui Lily Festival 2019, after which review of developmental work taken up at Ukhrul and Kamjong will be carried out in the DRDA conference hall.

According to police, additional security forces from Imphal has arrived in Ukhrul.

IGP Jayanta Kumar Singh was also stationed at Ukhrul to assist and supervise SP, Ukhrul on security arrangements and other during the Cabinet meeting.
