Meetei Mayek class for examiners begins

Imphal, April 03 2013: Board of Secondary Education Manipur (BSEM) has started a 4-day-long Meetei Mayek remedial class for the examiners of class X examination at Johnstone higher Secondary School here from today.

L Rajmohan Singh, Secretary of BSEM, who presided over the inaugural function, said that all the examiners need to know the script thoroughly as students, who have started their schooling since the implementation of Meetei Mayek would appear in class X examination in 2015.Except English, all other subjects like science, social science, mathematics would be written in Meetei Mayek.

During the remedial class, M Naokhomba, Vice-President of MEELAL; Ng Yumjao, Advisor of MEELAL; Y Biren, Organisation Secretary of MEELAL; Dr W Romesh, Assistant Professor of G P Women College; Dr N Mahabir, Joint Director of Language Cell, Manipur and Nandakumar, Ex-Secretary of BSEM would teach Meetei Mayek to the participating examiners.
