Imphal, March 03 2012: Troops of 22 AR under the aegis of Red Shield Division in an operation with Imphal East Commandos arrested one UNLF cadre from Kalinagar Part I, Jiribam today.

The cadre has been identified as Army No 1522 Cpl Moirangthem Yaningba @ Nanao aged 27 years of Babukhul, Jiribam, Imphal East.

He was handed over to the Jiribam Police Station, stated a press release of PIB (DW) today.

Meanwhile, Troops of 42 AR of 26 Sector under HQ IGAR (South) in an operation in Mayai Leikai of Chandel district apprehended one KYKL cadre on March 2.The apprehended cadre was identified as SS Cpl Leitongbam Romei Meitei (26) of Wangoo Mayai Leikai, Bishnupur.

One 9 mm Pistol with magazine and two 9 mm live rounds were recovered from him.

He alongwith the recoveries was handed over to Kakching Police station, stated a press release of PRO IGAR (S) .
