Imphal, November 02 2013 : Shija Blood Bank and Transfusion Services located at Shija Hospitals Complex, Langol has become the first NABH (National Accreditation Board of Hospitals and Healthcare Service Providers) accredited Blood Bank in North East India.

The Blood Bank was granted the accreditation no.BB-2013-0057, effective from 25th October 2013.The accreditation has been granted for meeting the required quality standard set by the authorities of NABH.

In a Press Conference held at Shija Hospitals Auditorium, Phungzathang Tonsing, Health Minister, Govt.of Manipur along with Dr.Kh Palin, Managing Director, Shija Hospitals briefed the media about the achievement and the facilities of Shija Blood Bank and Transfusion Services.
