Group Centre, CRPF celebrates 55th Raising Day

Imphal, August 02 2024: The 55th Raising Day of Group Centre, CRPF was observed at GC Campus on Thursday.

The day commemorated the immense and unparalleled contribution of the force in upholding the unity, integrity and sovereignty of the Nation, said a release issued by CRPF.

During the event, Anil Kumar Bhardwaj, DIG, GC, Imphal, Padmashree N Kunjarani Devi, Commandant, GC Imphal, M Somorani, Deputy Commandant, GC Imphal along with other officers and jawans paid homage/tribute to its martyrs.

Approximately 2000 officers & Jawans of CRPF Units/Offices also participated in the Raising Day celebration.

A Grand Mela was organised at Prade Group, GC, CRPF, Langjing, in which orphans were invited and gifts & sweets were distributed to the orphans by Anil Kumar Bhardwaj.

Various games/sports activities were conducted for entertainment of jawans and their families.

The celebration concluded with a cultural programme organised at Auditorium Hall, GC, Imphal.
