400 trucks stranded near Nungdalan along NH-37

Imphal, July 02 2013:
Following landslide at Nungdalan along National Highway No.37, more than 400 loaded trucks have been stranded on their way from Jiribam to Imphal.
According to sources, about 850 trucks with escorts headed Imphal from Jiribam today morning.
However, they were blocked near Maku Bridge in Tamenglong due to landslide.
The trucks began to proceed after BRTF cleared the highway, but again landslide occurred near Nungdalan.
More than 400 trucks are still stranded along NH-37 near Nungdalan even though some trucks had passed through the spot before the occurrence of landslide.
