Imphal, December 31 2019: Major General K P Singh, Inspector General Assam Rifles (South) and all ranks of Assam Rifles have extended warm greetings and goodwill to the people of Manipur and wished everyone a prosperous Happy New Year 2020.The IG Assam Rifles (South) conveyed his earnest message of peace, harmony, unity and understanding on the joyous occasion and wished all the goodwill to bring everyone together, irrespective of caste, creed and faith.

May the lord Almighty bless everyone with joy and happiness and guide all the people in the future endeavours towards building a strong and prosperous Nation.

On the other hand, Women Action for Development has extended warm greetings on the coming of a new year and prayed to God for safety and security of women, children and innocent in 2020.WAD maintained that it has been engaged in several projects regarding crimes against women and children.
