Imphal, December 10: The State Government has today submitted some files pertaining to the communication between the State and the Centre on the ceasefire issue before the Upendra Commission at the State Secretariat, Ministerial Block.

A reliable source said that the State is set to submit more files to the Commission.

However it is not clear whether the Government has sent the resolutions passed by the Manipur Legislative Assembly taken for safeguarding the State territory to the Centre.

In the meantime, counsel for the July 20 victim Rajkumar, advocate Milan continued his arguments today.

He said that the firing incident occurred due to the failure of the security forces to control the mob.

The Commission wanted to conduct a spot study particularly the road levels at Maharani Traffic point and Uripok road.
