RPF negates
Source: The Sangai Express

Imphal, April 23 2013: Reacting to the statements of some politicians and high-ranking officers of the State Government which reportedly dubbed attacks on security forces as dastardly and asserted that violence could not bring any kind of solution as reported in some sections of media on April 22, the proscribed RPF has questioned who are being cowards and who are indulging in rampant violence.

A statement issued by the outfit's Publicity Secretary Roben Khuman maintained that RPF and PLA have never committed any cowardly act in the course of the ongoing liberation movement.

"Is it being dastardly that RPF/PLA has been fighting against the Indian military forces who are occupying Manipur ? Are those heroes and martyrs who fought and died in the war to save Manipur from foreign occupation cowards ?", the outfit questioned.

Cowards are those puppet rulers who have no qualms in selling out their own motherland.

Cowards are those politicians who are habituated to a culture of playing sycophancy and subservience to their New Delhi masters.

Cowards are those leaders who can act mute and dumb when their own brothers and sisters are slaughtered and raped by the Indian military personnel, the outfit asserted.

Bravery is defined by those people who live courageously and who have the spirit to sacrifice their own lives for the cause of the motherland.

Since the day AFSPA was imposed in Manipur, 8983 people have been killed while 1528 people have been killed in fake encounters.

People's assertion that so many people have been killed by the Indian military with the shield of impunity guaranteed by AFSPA is a fact.

It was not the people who brought AFSPA to Manipur.

It was New Delhi and their local agents who brought AFSPA to Manipur with a sinister design to keep Manipur under permanent rule and subjugation, the outfit alleged.

AFSPA is one of the root causes for rampant violence witnessed in Manipur.

While shouting against violence as act of cowardice, the puppet rulers have been arming their police force with more lethal and sophisticated weapons like AK series and MP series in the name of police modernisation.

Again, the puppet rulers have been shouting that a solution to the liberation movement can be achieved only through political means but they are the ones who bring in hordes and hordes of Indian military personnel to Manipur, and they have slaughtered a large number of revolutionaries as well as civilians.

Such disposition and strategy of the puppet leaders does not have any element of political negotiation.

It only exposes their intention to suppress the liberation movement with brute military force.

What the leaders of the puppet Government have been talking about are aimed at garnering votes and pleasing their New Delhi masters, it alleged.
