Imphal, September 19 2015 : Chief Minister O Ibobi con-vened an official meeting on September 17 and discussed about the ongoing preparations for the annual Sangai festival.

The meeting deliberated on making this year's Sangai Festival a grand success.

With a view to give a uni-que taste to all visitors and participants of the festival, the meeting decided to allow only indigenous products to be sold at the festival.

Officials of Tourism Department informed the Chief Minister about the ongoing preparation works by giving a digital presentation.

The meeting further mooted about inviting Chief Ministers of all the North Eastern States as well as embassies of the neighbouring countries to the festival this year.

The festival will be kick-started on November 21 as usual.
