KCA endorses KSO's indefinite bandh

Chandel, November 18 2015: Kuki Chiefs' Association (KCA), Chandel has endorsed the indefinite bandh imposed by Kuki Students' Organization (KSO) along Imphal - Moreh section of National Highway 102 in protest against the shifting of D.El.Ed.II yrs examination centre outside the district, our correspondent reports.

Informing media persons, Lhunkhomang Khongsai, secretary information, KCA, Chandel said the association fully endorses the ongoing indefinite bandh imposed by KSO and also condemned the act of Regional Director, IGNOU Imphal for shifting the said examination centre at Lamding Model High School, Thoubal district.

Khongsai also appealed the authority concerned to settle the issue at the earliest in the interest of the students' community.

The association will not remain a mute spectator in case the authority concerned fails to respond positively to the demand of the students' body, he warned.
