Imphal, February 15 2025: The Koireng-led UNLF has clari-fied that the outfit and its armed wing MPA have nothing to do with the killing of Laishram Malemnganba alias Tonao of Moirang-kampu Awang Leikai and the attempt to kill his friend/companion by some uniden-tified armed persons on February 10 .

Laishram Malemnganba alias Tonao was shot dead by some unidentified persons on February 10 not far away from his home.

Vehemently condemning the killing of the boy who was just 14/15 years old, a press release issued by the outfit's Secretary of Publicity M Shak-Hen asserted that those individuals or the group involved in the heinous killing must come out with a clarification.
