With eyes set on 40 seats, BJYM rolls up sleeves

Bharatiya Janata Yuva Morcha (BJYM), State unit has resolved to actively engage youths in the forthcoming Assembly elections to ensure Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) wins at least 40 seats.
The resolution was taken during an executive meeting of BJYM which was convened today in the presence of BJP Manipur and Nagaland general secretary (organisation) Abhay Kumar Giri; BJP State unit vice president Dr U Deven and BJP general secretary (organisation) P Premananda among others at JN Dance Academy.
Speaking to media persons after the meeting, BJYM State unit president Ramkrishna Koijam stated that youths will play an active role to ensure the target set by former president of BJP Manipur Prof S Tikendra of winning 40 seats is realised.

Saying that about 1 lakh youths of BJYM are enrolled in BJP, he added that more efforts will be put in to strengthen the youth wing of the saffron party.
If anyone from the youth wing aspires to contest the elections, then the matter will be discussed thoroughly with due approval from the BJP State unit leaders and after proper screening, he added.
U Deven, who is also the in-charge of BJYM, Manipur, noted that strengthening the BJP largely depends on strengthening its youth wing.
Saying the youths should play a pivotal role in strengthening the saffron party, he exuded confidence that BJP will surely be victorious in the elections.
