He also said that the festival has been organised as a supplication to the Almighty for a peaceful atmosphere in the State and the district in particular.
The NPO is also focusing to promote and foster the spirit of brotherhood and oneness among the five tribes.
Markson further expressed serious concern over the cancellation of the census of 2001 and 2011 in respect of the three subdivisions of Mao-Maram, Paomata and Purul which has caused colossal setbacks to the people politically and economically.
Despite the apathy of the State Govt over the issue, the NPO is determined to achieve the people's goal of including the populace in the National Provisional Census at all cost, he pledged while appealing all concerned to abstain from hampering the initiatives of the organisation and the Govt in implementing projects in the district.
Among others, the programme was also attended by Brig Ajay Negi, Commander of 59 Mountain Brigade and Simeon Khongsai, President of Kuki Inpi, Sadar Hills.
