Imphal, December 11 2012:
Vehicular movement in Greater Imphal area was affected for the second consecutive night due to radiation fog though the magnitude slightly decreased today.
Radiation fog phenomenon was felt since last night in Greater Imphal area.
As visibility level was almost nil due to thick smog since last night, vehicular movement was badly affected.
Police personnel helped commuters along Singjamei-Canchipur stretch of NH-2 by illuminating fog light and torch light along the stretch.

Though no major road mishap has been reported due to the unusual fog radiation, reports of minor mishap have been received.
A shopkeeper was injured when a Bolero Jeep hit him last night at Hatta Minuthong while a car hit a road median near Singjamei parking.
Reports of riders bypassing their residences have also been received.
Many senior citizens have also recorded the fog radiation as the first of its kind in their life time.
