ZCOs mocks claims of Joint Tribes Council

The Zeliangrong Civil Organizations (ZCOs) which consists of Zeliangrong Baudi, Zeliangrong Youth Front and Zeliangrong Students' Union has mocked the claims made by the Joint Tribes Council and added that the din raised in the media is just to please somebody who in fact is making fun of them.
Some individuals of these dialectal groups of Zeme, Liangmai, Rongmei are too much obsessed with the hope that the NSCN (IM) may bring stars and moon out of the Naga political issue thereby acting as a mouthpiece under the banner of 'joint tribe council' and parroting the verse of the NSCN (IM) and trying to mislead the innocent general public, alleged ZCOs and alleged that they are unaware of the fact that there are tribes who speak different dialects but no dialectal groups of those tribes ever claim themselves as separate and distinct tribes.
There are some tribes who are of totally different origin and background unlike Zeliangrong family, yet they don't claim themselves as different people, it said.
Some individuals of Zeliangrong family without relying on their background and origin history are claiming that Zeme, Liangmai, Rongmei are distinct tribes after the NSCN (IM) granted separate tribes recognition, it said.
Why should the law abiding citizens uphold the order issued by an underground group ?, ZCOs questioned and stated that the NSCN (IM) is just one of the Naga underground groups, therefore, separate tribe recognition of Zeme, Liangmai, Rongmei by the NSCN (IM) or any other underground groups cannot be binding on the future of Zeliangrong family.
ZCOs further said that the NSCN (IM) which enjoyed the support of majority Naga people once upon a time on their claims of "uniqueness of Naga history" has now completely lost the trust and confidence of the Naga people after they distorted the Naga history and added that the Zeliangrong family is one of the victims of the distorted Naga history as evident by the so-called separate tribe recognition as Zeme, Liangmai, Rongmei.
The Naga civil organizations such as Manipur based United Naga Council (UNC) and Nagaland based Naga Hoho (NH) were very powerful bodies once upon a time but are now victims of the Naga political issue after they succumbed to the diktat of the NSCN (IM), ZCOs alleged.
That any peoples' organizations not based on reason, truth, reality and correct history can last long is exemplified by the diminishing reputation and image of the United Naga Council (UNC) and Naga Hoho (NH), it added.
Regarding the Central Govt granting separate tribe recognition for Zeme, Liangmai, Rongmei, ZCOs said it is a well known fact that the Central Govt will recognise any nomenclature for any tribe if requested for separate tribe nomenclatures recognition.
"It is advised to those individuals of dialectal groups of Zeme, Liangmai, Rongmei to be aware of the different nomenclatures given to Zeliangrong tribe in different Indian States such as in Assam State of Dima Hasao (North Cachar Hills) where we are recognised as Zeme Naga and in Cachar valley known as Hills Tribes in plain and in the State of Manipur we are recognised as Kabui, Zeme, Liangmai, Rongmei, Inpui, Kacha Naga and in the State of Nagaland we are recognised as Zeliang tribe.
"The Govt of India is not blind to the supreme sacrifice of Haipou Jadonang for the cause of India's freedom movement from the bondage of British colonial rule and the maximum contribution rendered by Rani Gaidinliu during India's freedom movement therefore, the Govt of India will definitely repay for the great injustice done so far to Zeliangrong people," it added.
