Imphal, September 06 2012:
The bomb attack which targeted foot patrolling troops of 28 Assam Rifles, C-Coy posted at Singjamei Chinga near Keishampat traffic point at about 8.40 am yesterday was carried out by UNLF-MPA, claimed a press release issued by the outfit's senior publicity officer Ksh Yoiheiba.
In addition to the two injured personnel of whom one is critical, the other AR personnel were petrified by the sudden attack carried out by a small demolition team of the MPA, claimed the outfit.
By deploying more than 60,000 military personnel in Manipur, the Indian military in the name of tackling the 'liberation movement' has killed many revolutionary cadres apart from massacring a large of number of innocent civilians in cold blood.
People of the land are unable to lead a peaceful and secure life because of extensive militarisation of the land since Manipur was forcibly merged into the Indian Union.

It is a secret policy of the Government of India to ensure security of the immigrants from mainland India and at the same time commit a series of genocide against the indigenous people with a sinister design to wipe out the Manipuri nation.
The Indian military and their repressive measures are being encouraged by draconian laws like Armed Forces (Special Powers) Act.
Emboldened by the immunity guaranteed by AFSPA, the Indian military has been killing many innocent civilians in fake encounters all over the hills and valley of Manipur.
Moreover, many women have been raped or/and murdered in the most brutal manner, the outfit asserted while citing the cases of Manorama Chanu Rose, Luingamla, Ahanjaobi etc.
To attack such a brutal force, one need not wait for appropriate time or place, and the UNLF-MPA would continue with its sudden attacks in such a manner so as to avoid collateral casualties to civilians as far as possible.
The outfit may also go for suicide missions, if necessary, said the outfit and asked all the people to stay away from the Indian military as far as possible.
Addressing those who expressed grief at the casualty suffered by Indian military personnel, the outfit reminded them about the murder of Manorama, the nude protest at Kangla gate and the ongoing crusade of Irom Sharmila.
A few Manipuri women have now emerged who have no qualms to celebrate Ningol Chakkhouba and tie rakhi on Indian military personnel after forgetting all the brutal rapes and murder committed by those military personnel.
What these women have been doing is nothing short of defiling the glorious image of Manipuri women.
The UNLF-MPA has been closely watching those opportunists who allowed themselves to be won over by the Indian military.
Stating that the people should not allow the Indian military to hoodwink them, the outfit called upon one and all to share their due responsibility in saving the nation before it is too late, it added.
