Runaway students intercepted near Moreh

Three students, who ran away from the boarding of Grace Rich Academy at Hiyanglam Lai Pangalba under Kakching Police Station, have been intercepted by Tengnoupal Police while they were trying to enter Moreh town today.
The students were later handed over to their respective parents by the police.
The students who ran away from the boarding have been identified as Ngangom Borish alias Berus (14), Class VIII, s/o (late) Hemanta of Lamsang Awang Leikai; Khumujam Alish (13), Class VII, s/o Nimai of Sagolband Sapam Leirak and Oinam Tyson (13), Class VI, s/o Shanta of Upokpi, Bishnupur district.
According to police, a team of Tengnoupal Police led by ASI Mayanglambam Dhananjoy was on ROP duty in between Bongyang and Sinam Village today.
The police spotted three students with backpacks moving on foot from Pallel side towards Moreh town.
On suspicion, the police personnel questioned them.
However, their responses varied with one another.
Later, they disclosed that they ran away from the boarding due to unfavourable conditions at around 4 am today.
They reached Pallel after boarding several vehicles.
They were going to Moreh as Khumujam Alish's father is a driver of a passenger vehicle operating along Imphal-Moreh Road and he (Alish) had been to Moreh on few occasions, the students said.
Later, they were handed over to their family members and school authorities by Pallel Police.
