MAYOL march reaches Mayang Imphal

Imphal, January 03 2024: The long march of Manipur Youth League (MAYOL) for National regeneration reached Mayang Imphal, today.

The 15th day of the march began from the ground of Bashikhong Panthoibi Youth Club and passed through Kyamgei, Lilong Chajing, Lilong Haoreibi, Samurou and Wangoi.

At Wangoi Keithel, a public meeting was held before the marchers had their lunch there.

AMKIL president Lourembam Nganbi, Editor of Huiyen Lanpao Maibam Dhanabir Meitei and a key member of MAYOL Bikash Wahengbam spoke at the public meeting organised by Youth Development Union, Wangoi; Wangoi Apunba Meira Paibi Lup and the locals of Thiyam Leishangkhong.

From Wangoi Keithel, the marchers headed toward Mayai Lambi and reached the destination in the evening.

Another public meeting was held at Khuman Mini Stadium at Mayang Imphal where LIPUL president Th Somorendo and the Principal of Lilong Higher Secondary School Dr Shanta shared their views on different topics concerning the future of Manipur.

The marchers will spend the night at Mayang Imphal.

The long march began from Kangla on December 20 .

It will conclude at Canchipur on January 9 .
