CRPF conducts Civic Action programme

Imphal, December 29 2024: Under the aegis of Dr Vipul Kumar (IPS), Inspector General Manipur & Nagaland sector CRPF and supervision of Amit Kumar, Commandant 133 Bn CRPF, Saikul, Manipur camp organized a Civic Action Programme at Songpehjang relief centre.

During the programme, the CRPF distributed items such as blankets, solar lamps with batteries and various other sports items to the local populace of Songpehjang and Thankanphai of Saikul.

The programme was attended by officers and personnel of 133 Battalion CRPF, the village chief and a total number of around 150 villagers.

The village chief expressed gratitude, mentioning the event's significance for the local community.

The Commandant, 133 Bn said that such events promoted better coordination and communication between the public and the forces and assured them of extending all kinds of help, and wished the situation of the State to normalize soon.

On the occasion, Dr Jay Surya, CMO (SG), Bhawani Pratap Yadav, 2-1/C, Baban Kumar Singh D/C, Neyaz Ahman A/C, Navin Kumar A/C were also present.
