Catechism Competition, Gospel Choreography today

Imphal, October 29 2015: Catholic Educational Society Manipur (CESM) Liturgy & Catechetics Commission will be organising a Catechism Competition and Gospel Choreography from Thursday till November 2 at St Joseph School, Imphal for the Arcdiocese of Imphal, Manipur.

The competition will begin with a mass with Most Rev Dominic Lumon, Archbishop of Imphal as the main celebrant.

The welcome speech will be given by Fr Robert Somi, the director of Catechetics & Liturgy followed by a "Song of Peace" to be presented by SJS and LFS teams.

The inaugural speech will be delivered by Most Rev Dominic Lumon.

This will be followed by a dance performance by Amelia & Esther; Choreography by LFS; Song by Sneha Bhavan; Cultural Dance by Georgians, Moreh and Guidelines given by Fr Paul Lelen Haokip, Director, CESM.

On October 31, there will preparation for exams; Written Exams for classes V-X (2 hours); tea break and Practice for Evening Choreography.

Gospel Choreography Competition will begin at 6 pm followed by highlights and declaration of CL-X exam.

On November 1, there will be an orientation hour at 10 am.

In the evening at 5 pm, there will be a quiz competition.

The farewell night will feature prize distributions, Hawaii Dance by LFS and Choreography by Sneha Bhavan.
