Free medical camp held

86 BN Central Reserved Police Force (CRPF) under Civic Action Programme organised a free medical camp at Nungtek (Kuruangmon), Noney district today.
The function was inaugurated by retd Brigadier SK Sharma, YSM, DIG Imphal range in the presence of Dr Linga Raj, DIG (Medical) Composite Hospital Imphal.
The report stated that more man 200 villagers were examined during the camp and free medicine were given to the patient which was attended by doctors and staffs of CRPF and Noney PHC.
Speaking at the event, Sh Kalyan Singh commandant 86 bn CRPF expressed that prior to organizing the camp, survey of the area was carried out with a view to extend imperative benefits to the people of the area.
He further stated that the camp was organized to help the people in the local areas and to maintain the cordial relation between security forces and public to spread the message that security force deployed in the region are dedicated not only for the security and safety of the local people but to bridge the gap of inadequacy between public and Govt agencies.
While speaking at the event, retd Brigadier SK Sharma mentioned the noteworthy activities undertaken by the 86 bn CRPF, like construction of water storage tank and waiting sheds at Sehjang, K Senam, Awangkhul and Noney village.
The village chief, local leaders and general public applauded the initiatives of 86 bn CRPF.
