Helen Keller Day observed

Society for Disabled Person Manipur in association with District Social Welfare Office Bishnupur, and Legal Aid Clinic Kumbi jointly observed Helen Keller Day on her 138th birth anniversary at Kumbi Bazar.
Helen Keller was born in 1880, in
Tuscumbia, Alabama.
At 18 months, she developed a fever that left her deaf and blind.
With the help of her teacher, Anne Sullivan, Helen learned to use sign language and read braille.
