AR reaches out to JJ Children's Home

Imphal, May 27 2021: Moreh Battalion under the aegis of 1GAR (South) extended assistance to JJ Children's Home Moreh today.

In order to assist the home to tide over the lockdown induced difficulties, essential commodities, masks, gloves, sanirizer and daily use items were provided to the children, said a statement issued by' PRO Assam Rifles.

In past, amidst covid, Moreh battalion has supported JJ Children's home by establishing a Mini Mask Factory and constructing two toilet blocks.

The children were also educated about COVID-19 protocols like maintaining social distancing, wearing of masks and regular washing of hands to safeguard themselves, added the statement.

The orphanage home administrators expressed their heartfelt gratitude and appreciated the endeavour of Assam Rifles.
