Imphal, April 26 2018: Saikhom Meirabai Chanu was felicitated during her homecoming for her splendid performance during the Commonwealth Games 2018 by securing Gold Medal for India and making the State of Manipur proud ofher achievements.

The felicitation ceremony was organised in conjunction with 15 Assam Rifles of 9 Sector under the aegis of HQ IGAR (South) at Nongpok Kakching village, said a press release issued by PRO IGAR (S) .

Assam Rifles wished SaikhomMirabai Chanu for her hard work, dedication and her spirit and conveyed best wishes for all future competitions.

The ceremony was attended by large number of villagers who appreciated the efforts of Assam Rifles, it added.
