Assam Rifles organises Covid awareness drive

Imphal, April 25 2021: In its relentless pursuit to reach out to the local populace, Loktak Battalion Assam Rifles under the aegis of Churachandpur Sector Assam Rifles organised a Covid-19 awareness drive at Kangvai village in Churachandpur district today.

The awareness drive included a road show on prevailing Covid-19 pandemic, wherein the Do's and Don'ts, social distancing, aspects of wearing mask and personal hygiene were especially highlighted, said a statement issued by PRO Assam Rifles.

The residents were sensitised about the importance of adhering to the guidelines of Covid-19 in restricting the spread of the virus in the society, added the statement.

The local populace, especially the youths expressed their heartfelt gratitude to the Assam Rifles for undertaking such an initiative, added the statement.
