RPF extends Christmas greetings

Imphal, December 24 2024: The proscribed Revolutionary People's Front (RPF) has extended greetings to all the citizens of Manipur on the auspicious occasion of Christmas and prayed for peace, harmony and understanding among different sections of people with the coming of Christmas-2024 .

In its Christmas message, RPF's minority affairs deputy secretary Y Shyam said that Lord Jesus came to Earth as a human being as per instruction of the almighty God to lead every human being to the right path.

"The main message of Jesus Christ is to bring peace and harmony among the entire people of the globe and living together with love and understanding is the greatest path of the mankind (John 13: 34)," he added.

according to Y Shyam, human beings in the contemporary society around the globe are unable to live together and fight against each other for land which cannot be carried when they die.

"Sufferings due to clashes among communities throughout the globe with short-sighted thoughts and superiority complex have filled the globe," he said, adding that the same is happening in Manipur now as people have become refugees in their own land and suffered a lot due to loss of their near and dear ones in clashes.

Amidst this situation, entire indigenous people of Manipur should exercise maximum restraint and live together as one with love and understanding as in the past, Shyam said.

Continuing his message, the deputy secretary reminded that Lord Jesus Christ sacrificed His life on the cross for the sake of the mankind and to save human society from the path of sins and then enter upon the almighty God to show the right path for mankind.

"This shows how much saviour Lord Jesus loved mankind.

Every human being should be kind and compassionate to one another, forgiving each other just Lord Jesus did and live together as brothers peacefully (Ephesians 4:32) " .
