Imphal, November 24 2018: In view of the by-election to the 5/10/6 Nachou Khunou constituency (UR) of 5/10 Nachou Gram Panchayat scheduled to be held on November 26, the Government has announced that all Government offices and educational institutions, private sectorundertakings and other establishments located within the said constituency will remain closed on the day.

Further, all banks/financial institutions located within the constituency will also remain closed on the day.

Government employees, bank employees and employees of private sector undertakings of the constituency but serving elsewhere will be allowed to avail special casual leave for the day to enable them to exercise their rights of franchise, said a statement of the Joint Secretary (GAD) Government of Manipur Ng Roben Singh.
