Thoubal, October 24 2019: The Seawave Manipur, Thoubal released a book titled "Peewits" at the residence of renowned female writer Y Indira at Thoubal Awang Leikai today.

Sahitya Akademi Awardee Dr Jodhachandra Sanasam, Seawaves Manipur president Salam Tomba Singh, retired Librarian (Manipur University) Dr Thounaojam Khomdon Singh and Hueiyen Lanpao columnist Soubam Tomba Singh attended the book releasing event as presidium members.

The book is a collection of 19 stories.

NB Konjengba, editor of the book said that the book is Seawaves' 9th book and is dedicated to National and State Teacher Awardee, late Leitanthem Ram Singh, one of the pioneers of modern Manipuri literature.

The gathering paid floral tributes to the photo of L Ram Singh.
