Assam Rifles distributes stationery items to students

Noney/Tamenglong, July 23 2024: NON/TML, Jul 23: In a bid to welcome students back to their schools after summer vacation and to infase a sense of zeal for learning, Assam Rifles organised a reception and distribution of stationery items to students of various schools across Tamenglong and Noney districts at the end of their summer break today.

Various schools were identified in Lower Katang, Tamah, Namtiram and Rengpang villages for the conduct of the programme, said a statement by the Assam Rifles.

Every student was gifted a set of stationery items in a bid to boost their enthusiasm and inculcate a sense of learning.

A total of 500 sets of the essential stationery supplies were distributed during the conduct of the event.

Expressing their gratitude, students and teachers conveyed their sincere appreciation to the Assam Rifles for this thoughtful gesture of receiving the students and equipping young minds with tools of education so they can take the enthusiasm from holidays and channel it into studies, added the statement by the Assam Rifles.
