Imphal, July 22 2020: Manipur Hawker's Association (MHA) has informed newspapers subscribers from areas declared as containment zones that they might not get their copies on certain dates due to the prevailing COVID situation in the State.

In a statement issued today, MHA president Ajit Wangkhemcha said that there were also instances of clubs and individuals requesting hawkers operating in their respective areas to halt newspaper delivery for the time being.

Saying that hawkers will continue their task of providing the latest news to the public despite the COVID-19 threat, Ajit appealed to subscribers from containment zones to contact their respective hawkers in advance if they wish to obtain a copy of their newspaper.
