The Kuki Students' Organization General Headquarters has strongly condemned the arrest warrant issued against the executives of KSO Sadar Hills on March 14, and termed the act as a forceful intimidating act of the State force to call off the total shutdown by KSO Sadar Hills.
A press release issued by the student body general secretary, Thanglalshon Baite stated that the police searched every nook and corner of the district to nab the president, the vice president, general secretary, finance secretary and education secretary of the KSO Sadar Hills as well.
However, due to the immense support from the public, they were all able to hide away from the police, it added.
It questioned the motive of the State Government and the State force as to what could warrant such an unprecedented act of the police who blatantly exposed their high handedness at the late hours of March 14 .
It also reminded the State Government that they have been facilitating peaceful solutions to various problems arising between the State Government and the people till date and called out to the State Government that the beginning of such act of the police upon the KSO will mean the end of support that KSO has been rendering to the State Government.
