Family of victim student clarifies

Imphal, August 16 2014 : The family of Ringsanbou Newmai has clarified that they had submitted petition on August 2 to the Zeliangrong Youth Front (ZYF), All Zeliangrong Students Union (AZSU) and Zeliangrong Students Union, Manipur (ZSUM) to take charge of the issue regarding the 'life attempt' of Ringsanbou Newmai at Maram, after the withdrawal of its earlier petition from the Zeliangrong Union (ZU) .

Given this scenario, any solution brought about by any organisation other than ZYF, AZSU and ZSUM would not be accepted by the victim's family.

Meanwhile, the victim's family has acknowledged financial and physical assistance extended to the family.

But any individual or group extending the helps to the victim in cash considering it as a way of negotiation, then, it is said that those groups and individuals may come and collect their money from the victim's family.
