14 cops named for awards

In connection with Patriots' Day observance, altogether 14 personnel of Manipur police have been named for conferment of Chief Minister's Police Medal for Gallantry and Chief Minister's Police Medal for Outstanding Devotion to Duty.
Police personnel named for Chief Minister's Police Medal for Gallantry are ASI (Jiribam) A Krishna Sharma, ASI Havildar Dabur Chongtham (2 MR attached to CID-tech), Havildar Md Islamuddin (2 MR attached to CDO Bpr), woman SI Golmei Dorcas (Imphal East attached to NAB), Jemadar S Jesawant (7 IRB attached to CDO Imphal West) and Jemadar T Ibomcha Singh (MPTC attached to CDO Imphal West).
Police personnel named for Chief Minister's Police Medal for Outstanding Devotion to Duty are head constable A Aka (Senapati), rifleman Awungshi Hopingson (6 MR), constable L Sandeep (CID-SB), rifleman Ch Romesh Singh (2 IRB attached to CDO Bpr), Jemadar Joseph A Shatsang (8 MR), woman SI Gangmei Haoreilu (Imphal West), SI P Rakesh Singh (Imphal West) and inspector Geetanjali Devi (OC women PS Porompat, Imphal East).
On the other hand, DIT Imphal East informatics officer Remeson WS has been named for the Chief Minister's Award for Good Governance, 2021-22 in individual category while team IT, team PDA, team higher education, oxygen management team, team SAT (State Academy of Training), team DP, team home department and team police department have been named for team category of the same award.
