RIMS gets high-end stretcher trolleys

In a significant advancement for patient care infrastructure, RIMS director Prof G Sunil Kumar Sharma inaugurated 60 high-end C-Arm compatible stretcher trolleys on Thursday.
The event, attended by Prof N Sanjib Singh, medical superintendent RIMS Hospital, Imphal, marks the largest single procurement of such trolleys in India, underscoring RIMS' commitment to integrating advanced medical equipment for enhanced healthcare delivery, according to a press release from the RIMS media cell.
The newly acquired stretcher trolleys, manufactured by Paramount Japan, are designed to offer superior mobility and compatibility with C-Arm imaging systems, ensuring seamless intraoperative and emergency care.
They are already in use at AIIMS, New Delhi, PGI, Chandigarh, and other leading institutions.
In casualty settings, where every minute counts, these trolleys can save valuable time, as patients do not need to be shifted from the trolley to hospital beds, X-ray tables, or minor OTs .
Speaking at the inauguration, Prof G Sunil noted that procurement of the high-end C-Arm compatible stretcher trolleys is a transformative step for RIMS .
"It will significantly improve patient transportation, surgical efficiency, and overall hospital workflow.
We remain committed to providing world-class healthcare services to the people of Manipur and beyond," he assured.
With this acquisition, RIMS, continues to set benchmarks in medical infrastructure, aligning itself with top-tier hospitals across India in delivering high-quality healthcare solutions, said the release.
