PREPAK observes martyrs' day

Imphal, November 12 2021:
The proscribed People's Revolutionary Party of Kangleipak (PREPAK) said that Athoubasingi Ningsing Numit/Martyrs' Day of the outfit was observed successfully by different communities of both hills and valley on Friday by organising simple functions with strict adherence to COVID-19 SOP.
The observance was marked with paying homage to the memorial sites of 'patriots' who sacrificed their lives during the movement for restoration of sovereignty of Kangleipak (Manipur) and lighting of candle at the gates of every house in the evening, a PREPAK statement issued by publicity officer of the department of publicity and propaganda Mangal Khuman said.
The observance was held at central headquarters of the outfit, Red Army's 701 mobile battalion, tactical head quarter (THQ), base areas, transit camps and training centres wherein party's flag was flown at half-mast and martyrs were honoured with gun salute.
While thanking people for offering floral tributes to the graveyards, memorial sites of revolutionaries and lighting candles in every residential gate amidst COVID-19 pandemic, the outfit appealed to people to continue their support till materialisation of the outfit and Red Army's dream of bringing an egalitarian and developed KangTei society free of alien rule.
The outfit maintained that its armed struggle against irrfperialist India will continue till regaining sovereign status of Kangleipak.
