JAC of AMTUC and AMGEO rejects Union budget 2015

Imphal, March 11 2015: Joint Administrative Council (JAC) of All Manipur Trade Unions' Council (AMTUC) and All Manipur Government Employees' Organisation (AMGEO) on Wednesday rejected the Union budget 2015, calling it a "pro-corporate and anti-people budget" .

According to a statement issued by the JAC secretary general, Purujit Lairikyeng-bam, the Central Govern-ment's full-fledged budget for 2015-16 continues the alleged aggressive neo-liberal economic agenda of the previous UPA and NDA Governments.

He alleged that the only the rich corporate will get benefits from the budget and appealed to all affiliated organizations to put it on record on the protest against the alleged anti-people and pro-corporate budget of the Union Government.
