ARDO backs Apna Dal S candidate MI Khan

All Round Development Organisation (ARDO) has vowed to back Apna Dal-S's intending candidate in Kshetrigao AC MI Khan.
ARDO Keirao A/C organised a felicitation ceremony on appointment of MI Khan as Apna Dal (S) general secretary administration at its office located at Keirao Makting Makha Leikai on Friday.
Addressing at the gathering, ARDO president Pukhrimayum Jalauddin observed that Kshetrigao constituency is like a mini-Manipur with around six-seven communities residing in the constituency.
The constituency needs a brave and knowledgeable person with sacrificial spirit to represent it as an MLA.
So, in order to save money culture and communal enmity overshadowing developmental aspirations of the people, ARDO resolved to support MI Khan in the upcoming assembly election in Kshetrigao AC, he said.
While claiming that 3,500 out of 4,000 voters in Keirao Makting area support MI Khan, Jalauddin affirmed that ARDO will strive to ensure election of MI Khan.
In his speech, MI Khan informed that Apna Dal (S) is an ally of the NDA government and the party president Anupriya Patel is the Union minister of commerce and industry.
The party has been advocating increase of reservation of minority and weaker section in every parliament session, he said and stressed that more thrust to socio-economic improvement of the weaker section would be beneficial to a state like Manipur which is not economically sound and lacks industry.
He continued that the party under the guidance of Apna Dal.(S) state president K Manoranjan will held 30 candidates in the upcoming state assembly election scheduled in early 2022 .
The party will surely open account in the upcoming election and will took roles in forming the government, he said.
The party president Anupriya Patel might visit the state in the last week of September to flag off election campaign, he added.
The function was attended by ARDO VP Sangomsumpham Helim, MI Khan Election Campaign Committee chairman Alhaj Shahbuddin and vice chairman Md Abdul Kaher among others.
