BJP readies for PM Modi's birthday

Imphal, September 08 2022: BJP Manipur Pradesh will celebrate the birthday of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, which falls on September 17, as Seva Pakhwada Programme (A fortnight for service) by carrying out public service activities from September 17 to October 2 .

Attending a pre-launch event held at JN Manipur Dance Academy auditorium here on Thursday, BJP Manipur Pradesh president A Sharda said that during the fortnight-long programme, the party will organise blood donation camps, tree plantation, distribution of artificial limbs, cleanliness programmes, rainwater harvesting programmes in different parts of the state apart from intellectual meets and seminars on PM Modi's life, works and policies of the Modi government.

BJP Manipur Pradesh general secretary P Premananda said that the fortnight-long programme is being organised across the country in competition format among the state units.

Five sub-committees have been formed tinder the supervision of party president A Sharda for successful conduct of the programme, he said.

Ministers Th Biswajit, Letpao Haokip, Th Basantakumar & H Dingo, Rajya Sabha MP Leishemba Sanajaoba and BJP Manipur Pradesh secretary organisation Abhay Giri also attended the programme.
