Imphal, November 07 2024:
While pointing out that various entities and individuals within the state have been operating and engaging in activities using the organisation's name without their consent, Arambai Tenggol clarified that recent actions are unauthorised and it does not endorse or support them in any way.
In a release, control room operator Laishram Robason stated that all activities alleging involvement of Arambai Tenggol should be verified with the AT General Headquarters (GHQ) before any action or publication.
There have been instances where events initially attributed to Arambai Tenggol were later found to be the responsibility of different parties: "Unfortunately, certain organisations that have disseminated false allegations against our entity have not taken the initiative to clarify the truth, even after being provided with accurate information.
This lack of action is concerning and undermines the integrity of communication within our community," he said, while mentioning that any individual within the organisation involved in any unwarranted incidents has been handed over to the police and booked in accordance with the law.
Moreover, strict disciplinary measures in line with the internal policies are implemented.
Recognising the growing concerns regarding false allegations made against Arambai Tenggol by various organisations, he said that the organisation will now take immediate action to address any further misuse of the name and reputation though they have approached the infractions with patience.
Legal action will be pursued as necessary to hold accountable any individuals or organisations involved in the unauthorised activities to the fullest extent, he cautioned.
Regarding the recent dissemination of unverified and potentially defamatory information about Arambai Tenggol on social media and other platforms, Robason urged all parties to cease such activities immediately as such spread of misinformation not only damages the organisation but also misleads the public.
"Arambai Tenggol is prepared to respond promptly and decisively to any attempts to tarnish our name or reputation.
Please be aware that publishing unverified news can lead to significant repercussions," he warned, while exhorting all individuals and organisations to halt such activities immediately to avoid unwanted consequences.
