Manipur's territorial integrity will not be affected: State BJP

The Centre has assured the State BJP that Manipur's territorial integrity would not be affected by any peace deal between the Government of India and NSCN (IM) .
State BJP in a statement on Friday said a nine- member delegation of the party led by its president Th Chaoba met several leaders of the Centre, including Home Minister Rajnath Singh, in New Delhi.
The delegation met Union Home Minister Rajnath, National BJP President Amit Shah, National General Secretaries Ramlal and Ram Madhopji and senior officials of Home Ministry.
The BJP team also met RN Ravi, Government of India interlocutor for Naga talks at his office chamber, Sansad Marg, New Delhi.
The members also submitted memorandums to Prime Minister, Union Home Minister, and others.
The Central leaders assured the delegation the existing geographical and political boundaries of Manipur as well as the administrative set up of the State would not be disturbed by any "Indo-Naga peace deal" .
