Imphal, July 07 2018: Donations to Chief Minister's Relief Fund to aid flood-affected people are still pouring in.

A total of Rs 16,30,179 was donated to CMRF by different groups and individuals today.

Teaching staff and doctors of Regional Institute of Medical Sciences (RIMS) contributed Rs 13,66,279, Thongam Romen Singh, resident of Heinoubok Nambol, Bishnupur district donated Rs 63,900, All Manipur Judicial Officers Association, Manipur donated Rs 1 lakh and the employees of Manipur State Co-operative Bank Ltd donated Rs 1 lakh.

These amounts were personally handed over to N Biren Singh at Chief Minister's Secretariat.

N Biren expressed his profound gratitude to the representatives of the groups for generously contributing in helping the flood affected people.
