AMSU for fair recruitment in Sainik School Imphal

Imphal, September 05 2014 : Alleging unfairness and favoritism in the examination for recruitment of LDCs in Sainik School Imphal, All Manipur Students Union (AMSU) has appealed to the school authority to conduct the rescheduled recruitment test in a fair manner.

In a press conference held at AMSU Headquarters here today, L.Reagan, Secretary General of AMSU, stated that the Sainik School, Imphal conducted examination for recruitment of LDCs on August 30 last.

In the Typing test, a particular candidate was asked to type a text which was already in the computer, he disclosed while adding that another candidate seating next realized the trick plotted by the Sainik School authority to favour the particular candidate and complained for re-conduct of the test.

The particular candidate was found to be weak in the typing test, he claimed.

As the matter became known to all, the school authority announced rescheduling of the recruitment examination on September 2 last, the student leader informed the media and said that the examination was again postponed.

Demanding that the candidate who was involved in the unfair means should not be allowed to contest for the LDC post, the AMSU leader threatened to ban the recruitment if that particular candidate in question is allowed to participate in the re-examination.
