Congress becomes cautious post-Oppn alliance: MPP

Vice President of Manipur People's Party (MPP) H Manisana has stated that the Congress Party has become more cautious and tactful pondering over ways to dissociate the alliance of Opposition Parties in the State.
Addressing media persons at the office of MPP here today, Manisana said that the Congress government has failed to fulfil the aspirations of the people of the State.
The Congress leaders are getting indulged in drug trafficking, contract works and other criminal activities in the society, he alleged.
The Congress has secured only 40 percent votes while the non-Congress Parties have secured more than 60 percent votes in the last Assembly election.
The alliance of Opposition Parties emerges as a thunderbolt to the Congress Party.
The Congress leaders are unable to focus on any development work of the state, Manisana stated.
Spokesperson of MPP H Nabashyam alleged that the Congress Party has swindled crores of rupees from the public in the name of projects and schemes which are of no use to the people.
