Thanksgiving and sanctification programme held at Tamenglong

Imphal, December 04 2020: A thanksgiving and sanctification of Sangrungpang Village, Tamenglong was conducted today.

A press release issued by Town Centre Church (TCC), Tamenglong HQs said that the programme was necessitated as the villagers were reconciled after infighting within the village for the last 15 years.

Saying that the internal feud had led to 'bloodshed' and displacement of 17 households, TCC continued that it was them that initiated the reconciliation process.

"As both the parties have now reconciled themselves, all cases pending in the Court, village pei or any other authorities have been annulled and no more applicable," it claimed and added that all the villagers will be brought under single Village Authority, Church and administrations.

The programme was solemnized by Rev Dr N Palmei, Senior Pastor TCC, Tamenglong in the presence of village, Church and organisation leaders, it added.
