Imphal, June 03 2019: The Rongmei Students' Organization Manipur (RSOM) has clarified that RSOM has nothing to do with the charge leveled against Director, Tribal Affairs Department alleging involvement of the director in the illegal recruitment of teaching and non-teaching staff ofEklavya Residential Model School, that is going viral in social media, said a press release issued by Gen Secy, RSOM.

In the statement, RSOM maintained that a press conference was conducted at Press Club, Imphal on May 13 regarding the illegal recruitment of teaching and non-teaching staff of Eklavya Model Residential School and RSOM has not mentioned name of any particular officer or individual during the press conference.

It said that RSOM has come to learn that some unknown persons have put up the name of Director, Tribal Affairs by distorting the original statement of RSOM in the social media which is now going viral and cautioned all those persons who are trying to tarnish the image and integrity of RSOM that stringent action will be taken with the help of Cyber experts againsts such perpetrators.
