7 CRPF men on re-poll hurt mishap

Imphal, March 03 2012: At least seven personnel of 32nd Battalion CRPF sustained injuries when the vehicle in which they were travelling met with an accident at Mongkot village of Chandel district this morning.

The CRPF personnel were on their way to duty for re-poll which is scheduled tomorrow.

The vehicle (Mini Tata 407) fell into a gorge.

The injured personnel have been treated at RIMS and their conditions is said to be out of danger.

Meanwhile, the two workers of Olish, independent candidate of Chandel A/C, who were abducted by suspected NSCN-IM cadres yesterday morning have been reportedly rescued by Army and AR personnel late night.
